Our family tree has been traced back to Randolph County, Alabama to the early or mid 1800s. The only records we have started with a brother and sister, Rubin Lancaster and Maryann Lancaster. We have no knowledge of their parents. Ruben had a wife named Lydia and Maryann married a man with the surname Thompson. The offspring of Rubin and his wife and of Maryann and her husband span at least eight generations. Descendents of Rubin and Maryann can be found in all regions of the United States.
